Friend, can we be honest with each other for a minute?

Donald Trump, his Administration, and his family are selling out this country. They are making billions of dollars in the most blatantly corrupt ways you can imagine. He is pushing our democracy to the brink.

These are fundamental truths. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

But there are many other fundamental truths, and I think they’re important to acknowledge.

To start: Millions — literally, millions — of people across this country are standing up against him. People from all walks of life. Even Republicans, even people who voted for him multiple times.

Things are bad, I won’t lie to you. I wish it had never gone this far. But if you look closely enough, you can see the light at the end of this tunnel.

Please. Don’t quit on me now. I am going to continue fighting against Trump, and I sure as hell won’t let him shut me up.

But from here on out, I need you with me. I’m doing everything in my power to help elect Democrats to the House and Senate this November, because that is our only chance of ending this chaos. A Democratic majority in Congress is Trump’s greatest fear — and it should be.
