he keeps threatening to commit war crimes

From this point forward, any time the Islamic Republic of Iran shoots at a ship in the Strait of Hormuz, whether it be by Missile, Rocket, Drone, or any other device or weapon, the United States will bomb and destroy ONE BRIDGE OR POWER PLANT, including those located next to, or in, the Capital City of Tehran.

That’s what Donald Trump posted Wednesday on his personal pontification platform, Truth Social.

Attacking civilian populations or infrastructure — even something that might also be considered a military target — is a black-and-white violation of the laws of war that were established by the international community after the atrocities of World War II.

So let’s be very clear — the president of the United States is threatening to commit multiple war crimes.

And not for the first time in his idiotic, immoral, and illegal war against the people of Iran. Here are just some examples:

• Trump has threatened to “knock out every single Power Plant, and every single Bridge, in Iran. NO MORE MR. NICE GUY!”

• Trump has said that “the Islamic Republic of Iran will no longer exist!”

• Trump has ranted about attacking “the entire country.”

• Trump has threatened to attack Iran so severely and indiscriminately that its entire populace will be taken “back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.”

• Trump has posted that a “whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.”

Infamously — on the very first day of this war — the U.S. military blew up an elementary school for girls. It was said to be an accident, but that doesn’t change the fact that over 150 civilians were killed, including 120 schoolchildren. At the risk of stating the obvious, they were not enemy combatants.

And the U.S. military has bombed schools, universities, medical centers, bridges, and other non-military targets in Iran throughout this war, with countless more civilian casualties.

Meanwhile, the Trump regime has the gall to demand tens of billions more of our tax dollars to continue its assault on the people of Iran, and MAGA Republicans in Congress are bending over backwards trying to authorize that funding, which is now under consideration in the Senate.

A very simple message to the United States Senate:

Do not authorize more money for Donald Trump’s illegal, immoral, and idiotic war against the people of Iran. Not the $70 billion that was jammed through in the House of Representatives. Not one penny. No more money for Trump’s Iran travesty!
