Team, I want to give you an update on where we’re at in 74 words:

Mega corporations are pouring billions of dollars into our politics.

We’re revoking their ability to buy our elections state by state – not by asking Congress or the Supreme Court.

We just won a major victory when Hawaii became the first state to defeat Citizens United.

Now, Montana and Pennsylvania are positioned to be next.

Work has begun to win in all 50 states. Events. Volunteer recruitment. Coalition building.

Former Montana Commissioner of Political Practices

Transparent Election Initiative is working to pass a ballot initiative that redefines corporate powers in our state to exclude political spending. The goal is to apply our blueprint across all 50 states.

To get it done here in Big Sky Country, we will need to start collecting signatures as soon as the state certifies our initiative filing, and we want your help to collect 100,000 signatures.

Together, we can get The Montana Plan on the 2026 ballot and get one step closer to defeating Citizens United.
