The Economist has updated its Senate forecast, and the outlook is moving in our favor.
Their latest projection gives Democrats a 50-50 chance of taking back the Senate majority.
If Democrats successfully defend every current blue seat — including battleground states like Georgia and Michigan that Trump carried in 2024 — control of the Senate could come down to six key races: Alaska, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, and Texas.
Winning just four of those contests would put Democrats in the majority.
