Last week, President Trump gave a primetime address about “election integrity.”
We can all agree we need secure elections. It’s important that every single eligible voter has confidence that their vote will be counted fairly — that nobody will try to interfere with or silence them at the ballot box.
But if President Trump is sincerely concerned about voter fraud, he should start by questioning Ken Paxton, who fraudulently voted at least six times according to investigative reports.
New reporting from the Texas Tribune revealed that Ken has voted using an address that he no longer lives at in six elections in a row. And when journalists have tried to ask him about it, he is silent, and his team rushes him out of the room.
I’m doing everything I can to make sure he never steps foot in the U.S. Senate, but I cannot do it alone.
In Texas, our Republican Secretary of State said our elections are “safe and secure.”
But as our state’s Attorney General, Ken Paxton has gone on a voter fraud witch hunt. Meanwhile, he’s been committing voter fraud himself.
People need to know about Crystal Mason, a mother of three from Tarrant County. Crystal made a mistake while casting a provisional ballot. Her ballot wasn’t even counted. Her mistake wasn’t even illegal. But Ken Paxton personally went after her anyway.
She was sentenced to five years in prison. Her conviction was later overturned, but her life was already ruined. She lost her job. She almost lost her house. Her son lost his football scholarship.
All because of an honest mistake.
Ken Paxton destroyed this woman’s life. And the whole time he was committing voter fraud himself.
This is just who Ken Paxton is. At every turn, he has made clear that he believes he is above the law. The law applies to everybody besides him and his wealthy donors.

He’d send a mother to jail for a fake crime, while asking Texans to send him to the U.S. Senate despite committing a real one.
