National Get Outdoors Day Goal: 200 donations

Donation Status: Still eligible!

Deadline: Friday, June 12, 2026 @ Midnight

Protect Public Lands for National Get Outdoors Day.

Hey, this might sound strange, but we have a special request. Do not donate to Trust for Public Land this Saturday…

Why? Because Saturday is National Get Outdoors Day! We want you to actually be outdoors, enjoying the lands you've helped protect. 🌞

Last year, nearly a hundred donors came together to help expand access to nature and strengthen protections for our most cherished public lands. This year, we want to take that work even further, but we need supporters like you to join us.

Help kickstart this important fundraising campaign for parks, trails, and other shared outdoor spaces by making a gift today. We’ve set a goal to recruit 200 donors to make a gift before midnight on Friday to make an even greater combined impact. Make your gift now!

GIVE BY FRIDAY AT MIDNIGHT

The need to safeguard our public lands has never been more urgent. Right now, federal priorities are shifting rapidly toward corporate interests, putting our most cherished public lands at risk of severe budget cuts and opening the door for private development. We cannot afford to lose a single day of momentum as we work to protect our shared outdoor spaces.

Help us reach our 200-donor goal before the weekend begins—make your $10 gift today! That way, we can all spend Saturday enjoying the very places we’re working so hard to protect.

Thanks to the support of people like you, TPL was able to protect over 3,000 stunning acres of Haskill Basin in Montana. Now, it’s permanently preserved for recreation, wildlife, and clean water supply.

DONATE NOW & GET OUTSIDE

We know from our decades of expertise that land protection is one of the most effective ways to bring the community together. We worked with the city of Whitefish to give residents a direct voice in the future of Haskill Basin, and an overwhelming 84% of voters approved the funds to protect it permanently.

These local, voter-backed victories are one of our strongest defenses against shifting federal policies. When public lands are on the ballot, voters consistently choose nature and climate resilience.

When you donate now, you are strengthening this powerful movement of people who believe our outdoor spaces are not up for debate. Your contribution will go right to work to help us protect public lands in communities where they’re needed most, just like Haskill Basin.

Help us reach our goal by being one of the first 200 people to donate before the Friday night deadline. Your contribution today helps protect parks and trails, so come National Get Outdoors Day, you're able to fully enjoy your time outside, knowing you've done your part.

DONATE NOW

See you outdoors,

Trust for Public Land

P.S. We're serious. There will be no reminder email on Saturday. Please make your gift today and start making plans to get outside this Saturday!

DONATE

Connecting everyone to the outdoors. We create parks and protect public land where they’re needed most so that everyone will have access to the benefits and joys of the outdoors for generations to come.
