The Trump administration is trying to change the rules to let the USPS deliver guns through the mail — with no background checks, licensing, or training — and we need you to help fight back.

Since 1927, federal law has prohibited the United States Postal Service from carrying or delivering handguns as mail — with exceptions for members of the military, law enforcement, or licensed gun manufacturers or dealers.

Donald Trump is trying to change that.

His Department of Justice recently issued a memorandum saying that they would no longer enforce this ban. Now, the USPS is proposing a change to their existing regulations.

If this rule goes into effect, it would mean people who shouldn’t have a gun will be able to go around state and federal laws and get a gun mailed to them.

This change also means that gun traffickers have a new way to move firearms through America’s communities.

At a time when gun violence is the #1 killer of kids and teenagers in our country…this rule would make us all less safe. We need to fight back.
