I hope you had a wonderful July 4th weekend and got to spend some time with your friends and family!
I’m sorry to bother you, but here’s why I had to: Over the last few days, we’ve experienced a significant slowdown in donations.
I get it, folks. My team and I expected a fundraising slowdown during the long weekend. Everyone deserves a few days off, and giving to our campaign might not be top of mind right now!
But to be honest, this is worse than we expected, and I'm getting a little bit worried:
Here’s the problem: we’re up against a billionaire – and his ultra-wealthy allies. They’re pouring millions of dollars into this race to defeat us.
This grassroots team has come through for me time and time again – helping us compete financially and make this a toss-up race in multiple polls.
But relying on a grassroots movement also means that a slowdown, even for just a few days, can put us at a real disadvantage.
And while it may have been a holiday weekend, we do still have our critical fundraising goals to hit. To make up for this slowdown, we need to see a surge of support in the next 48 hours.
So please, I’m personally asking: Will you chip in today to help us make up lost ground, hit our critical fundraising goal, and defeat Vivek Ramaswamy in this toss-up race?
