Donald Trump is edging America toward a war nobody asked for — a war designed to hand U.S. oil companies the keys to Venezuela’s massive petroleum reserves.
At least one Trump openly bragged that an invasion would mean a “field day” for American oil giants. GOP lawmakers are practically salivating over Venezuela’s crude, treating war like a business opportunity. And Trump is stoking the flames with exaggerated stories about “drug boats” and phantom threats — the same fear-mongering playbook that dragged us into Iraq.
It’s profiteering disguised as foreign policy, and we have to stop it before lives are shattered.
Tell Congress: “No blood for oil in Venezuela. Stop Trump’s march toward war, reject any military strike, and choose diplomacy over corporate greed.”

There is no imminent attack on the United States. What is imminent is the possibility of another catastrophic regime-change war that kills civilians, destabilizes an entire region, and sends U.S. service members into harm’s way for corporate gain.
Trump is hyping danger, selling lies, and rushing into conflict — and working families will pay the price. But public pressure can stop this. Mass outrage already helped halt previous attempts to launch unauthorized wars in Iran and Venezuela.
Now, Congress must hear one message loud and clear: American lives are not bargaining chips for oil companies. Congress cannot allow Trump to ignite a reckless, resource-grab war to distract from his political failures or reward his donors.
