BREAKING NEWS: The Supreme Court just handed down a decision that weakens the Voting Rights Act — the law that generations before us have fought and bled for to protect Latino and Black representation.

This opens the door for politicians to dilute Latino voting power, redraw maps behind closed doors, and silence immigrant communities like mine — all while pretending it’s “legal.”
I’m Manny Rutinel, the proud son of a Latina immigrant. I know who is going to be hurt by this.

Our communities have fought too hard to be heard. From first-generation families to lifelong residents, we deserve representation that reflects us, not maps designed to erase us.
But that’s exactly what’s at stake right now.
This ruling weakens one of the last tools we had to challenge discrimination, just as Trump has spent months threatening to send ICE to the polls to frighten Latino voters away.
And you better believe Republicans will move fast to take advantage. We cannot sit back.
I’m asking you to rush a contribution of $5 or whatever you can right now to help us fight back, protect our communities, and send a message that Latino voices will not be silenced.
They may try to rewrite the rules. But we’re going to organize, mobilize, and outfight them.
Because our voices aren’t going anywhere.
