The President recently said this: And the pathetic Speaker of the House added his own falsehoods, piling on to what the President said: These conspiracy theories have no basis in fact. None. Our elections are administered by trained professionals following rigorous, transparent processes. And yes, we all wish the counting was faster. But that's not the point. The point is to sow doubt. To delegitimize results before they're even final. To build the predicate for challenging outcomes they don't like. Both in this election, and future ones.  I've seen this playbook before. I was in the Capitol on January 6th when the lies about our elections turned into an insurrection. I know what's coming next. The lies about California are just the dry run for a systematic campaign to undermine our elections. And this time, they have the full weight of the federal government behind them.
