What does a governor actually do? Friends, I get this question more often than you might think. Some people picture ribbon cuttings and speeches. Others imagine long meetings and stacks of paperwork. The truth is, the job is a little bit of everything. On some days, it means sitting down with Democrats and Republicans to hammer out a budget that delivers for Pennsylvania families. On others, it means showing up in communities across our Commonwealth — listening to small business owners, teachers, first responders, and parents about what they need from their government. And a lot of the time, it means making sure government is actually delivering — fixing roads and bridges, investing in public schools, and making sure our economy is creating good-paying jobs right here in Pennsylvania. But no matter what my schedule entails on a given day, my focus stays the same: Getting Sh*t Done for the people of Pennsylvania. That approach has helped us build real momentum, but keeping that momentum is going to take a lot of resources, and we’re pacing behind on our End-of-Quarter fundraising goal.
