Hello,
I try to scan some documents. I have two questions
1) How can I tell the program to save my papersize? In the menu for properties I set the scannercalibration (I use german, so the correct word can be different) but there is no save button or apply. Whe I scan after, I get always a black border on two sides.
2) How does auto rotation work? Very often The paper is in the wrong direction after the display of four possible rotations.

Because of this, I hav to make manually crop and rotate. But the preview did not update, it show wrong rotation and black borders :-(

Thank you so far!

The calibration is applied when you close the settings dialog and saved when you close Paperwork.

If not, it's a bug. If you run Paperwork from a terminal, you can try to see if there is a Python exception when changing the calibration or when closing Paperwork.

Probably a wrong installation (missing package, or Tesseract is too old). How did you install Paperwork ? Did you use Flatpak ?

Can you do a scan and then get the diagnostic output:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/OpenPaperwork/paperwork/wikis/Getting-the-diagnostic-output
Hopefully it should tell us what is wrong.
