hi there.
katie l cole (formerly katie lindquist) here.
two things.

1.
you may or may not be familiar with paperwall, the one page literary publication started by sam cole and sometimes edited by yours truly.  if not, please check it out at paperwall.org
sadly, but not that sadly because sometimes we all have to grow and change and leave things we love behind and that's okay, paperwall is no longer accepting submissions, and no further issues will be published.  there are no plans to take down paperwall.org anytime soon, so please feel free to revisit and reread and print out the pages and wallpaper all the rooms in your home with it.  or use it symbolically as kindling or to line your bird or rodent's cage.  it never could have been possible without our awesome contributors and supporters, so from the bottom of our patchwork hearts, thank you.  a million times.  thank you.

2.
now you may want to print out a few copies of paperwall issue #10 and use it to dry your tears, because boy do I ever have good news for you.  like a phoenix rising from the ashes, a brand new project is born!  that's right people, from the power couple that brought you paperwall.org comes howyellow.com!
what the heezy is that all about?
I'm not exactly sure myself just yet, but you are not going to want to miss seeing this adventure unfold.
point your browser to howyellow.com
to view:
collab?
mashup?
smashup?
partnership?
not sure what the kids are calling to nowadays, but it's a video put together by me!
with words put together by (the late, great) paperwall (god rest its soul) contributor ankur agarwal!
holy cow!
I hope you just love it to pieces!
especially you, ankur, who has not seen it yet!
yikes!
and if you want be added to the email list and receive exciting updates about howyellow.com (mostly just when the site is updated), or if you have questions, or ideas, or want to work together, or want to tell me you hate it, or just need to talk, please please please email me at
this is going to be so rad.

much love, and best of luck,
katie l cole

PS.
seriously thanks to everyone who read, supported, contributed to, and believed in paperwall.  once in a while we would get emails from people saying how much they loved paperwall, and even if we didn't respond, it really meant the world to both sam and I, and it made me want to keep making things in spite of the feeling that it may be pointless.  thank you so much.
