PaperJS analogue to SVG's getPointAtLength(offset)?

I've looked thru the documentation but found haven't had success.  SVG's path.getPointAtLength(offset) tells you the x,y along the path at the specified offset.  It's very useful if you want to break a path into points or line segments at specific intervals or lengths.

Paper.js offers many of methods to do exactly this.
