hey friends,

hope you are well - i know we're in the middle of fusebox festivities, but i wanted to check in.

our proposal for the 2nd year (Oct 2015-Sept 2016) of our grant is due May 1 - this can be pretty straightforward and we will have the opportunity in October to revise it, but I will need to submit in May with a full budget. Currently, what we have sketched out is Art Show/Model Show Installation #2 in the fall and potentially Noel's piece in the spring/summer? (but I know Noel, you are really thinking of it for Fall 2016?)

And we still have the looming question of what to do with Murder Ballad for this year. I do need to write the city very soon with an update on where MB is in our timeline & if we're not doing it this year, we need to tell them our plan is to shift it to next year (but when?) Or ask them if we can still use the money for a development workshop this season with an open-to-the public rehearsal/showing culminating at the end (if this is even still on our radar. i dont remember where this landed with our Jay search and other cast avails.)

I know we have the upcoming April 25-26 weekend scheduled as a retreat, but I wanted to put these questions on our radar earlier since we had loosely put a lot on the retreat agenda (like MAST update, timeline and needs, our mission, our website, Sept fundraising, etc) and I won't have much time for the turnaround before the COA deadline, so we're going to need to make some concrete-ish decisions about our programming. Again, we can revise the details, but I'd like to have an honest-intent/sketch of our plans.

Kelli, i'd love to talk through your ideas for a AS/MS budget and we should create an internal sketch/timeline of what this project means/needs (when/how many trips to NOLA, what partnerships you are exploring/need help with, when is the deadline for the fringe application, are we applying for East Austin, etc...)

Liz, i'd love to hear how the Mast reading went. The cast is complete now, right? Is there a new copy of script you could send to us? I'd still like to have that deeper conversation with you and Lisa (& I guess Diana?) about the producer role and how best I can be of service throughout the process. Also, the next creative fund application deadline is May 11 and I'd love to rework that marketing section for our new application for Mast. Do you have time/energy to work with me on the app again?

i dont know if anyone wants to meet with me next week (April 13th week) for a glass of wine and a happy hour to get a jump on these things in general? holla at ya girl!
