You can access your Dropbox account, and your Dropbox files, with the Dropbox mobile app for your phone or tablet (including Android, iPhone, and iPad). Alternatively, you can log into dropbox.com on your mobile device in any mobile browser app.
Hello, I just switched to second phone after first one didn't support DropBox now another new phone does not opening DropBox app.
This is what is happened on both phones, after installation of DropBox app, and fill up user and pass app start process of login and than phone start to blinking around 20sec and return to main screen, a put down DropBox app. I received after that email security notification about login which is mean I'm logged in somehow but my phone is not. After that when I try to open DropBox app then screen is just blue for 10sec and again app is turned off. As I can see this is not only my problem, already bunch of people left 1 star review on google store for the same reason. It's sad how we got to the point where such a good app can't even run anymore on android phone, -10 stars for engineering in DropBox team.
I'm trying to add the latest (v5.1.1) Dropbox plugin to my Android Studio install (Bumblebee 2021.1.1) on Win10. I downloaded the .jar file from releases/v5.1.1 folder to an empty folder, then tried to install it using this method: from the Studio main menu I chose Plugins, selected the gear icon followed by Install Plugin From Disk, browsed to the .jar file location, selected it then pressed OK. I got an error message: "Fail to load plugin from file dropbox-sdk-java-5.1.1.jar". I tried installing the -5.1.1-javadoc.jar file using the same method, with the same result. I don't need the sources, I just want to use the SDK. Any ideas? TIA!
I am having the most frustrating time trying to package a simple basic project to be shared (via dropbox not google play) on a mobile device (samsung note 4) using UE4.9. I read the android docs that state that you do not need to share via the google play store as long as you sign the app.
I have followed the instructions on how to create a keystore but maybe I am doing it wrong. I am new to UE4 and android, so I appreciate your patience as a newbie. The following is the workflow I used to package my project for upload to dropbox and download to my mobile device.
Reawakening this dragon as I am still interested in finding out how I can export to dropbox without having to rely on google play store. Essentially, I just want to be able to collaborate with my friend on a project and have him test it out on his mobile device without having to use UE4. Yes, I can publish to google playstore for him to download but since google states there is an option to package without needing the google play store, I would like to find out how to do that using UE4.
Once you create a successfully signed package for Android the resulting folder will include an installer. At this point, zip the folder and provide the end user with a link to dropbox, google drive etc. They will need to open this on a computer, then use the installer to launch to an android device plugged into the computer.
Houston founded Evenflow, Inc. in May 2007[21] as the company behind Dropbox, and shortly thereafter secured seed funding from Y Combinator.[22] Dropbox was officially launched at 2008's TechCrunch Disrupt, an annual technology conference.[23] Owing to trademark disputes between Proxy, Inc. and Evenflow, Dropbox's official domain name was "getdropbox.com" until October 2009, when it acquired its current domain, "dropbox.com".[23] In October 2009, Evenflow, Inc. was renamed Dropbox, Inc.[24]
From the dropbox android app you can select folders to monitor and auto upload to Camera Roll folder in dropbox. Now I selected other folders besides the camera photos (e.g. screenshots). How can I select again which folders to auto sync so I can remove some folders from the list? I do not seem to find it
