Want to meet other creative people? Come to the inaugural meeting of the Chester County Creative Meet-Up Group on Monday, April 2nd from 7 to 9 pm at PBC-Phoenixville. This is a social network to have fun, meet new people, share creative ideas. If you have a creative mind, or simply just want to have fun, learn and socialize, this may be what you're looking for! Madeline's Drops
Madeline's Drops bracelet is a beautiful, vintage-looking piece. Come learn to make your own on Tuesday, April 3rd, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Viking Knit
Back by popular demand! Laurel will be teaching Viking knit on Saturday, April 7th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Viking knitting is not actually knitting, but is actually a type of weaving. Chains are made from long pieces of wire that are worked by hand into interconnecting loops.
Molly's Sparkle
This fun class is for those who have had some previous seed bead experience. You'll be using a few different stitches to make this cute and delicate bracelet. Learn it on April 11th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Celtic Visions
Want to expand your chain maille repertoire? Laurel will be teaching this weave, which is Japanese in structure, but looks like Celtic knot work. This is a beginner plus class, great class for those who have made at least one chain maille piece previously. Join us on Sunday, April 15th from 12:30 to 2:30 to make yours!
Return of Meredith
We're happy to welcome back internationally known artist Meredith Arnold! Meredith has graciously agreed to teach two more classes at PBC-Phoenixville at a fraction of the price of her classes at BeadFest! Sign up soon so you won't miss this great opportunity!
Semi-Precious Polymer Beads Create your own jade, lapis lazuli, ivory and turquoise beads with polymer clay! It's hard to tell the difference from the real thing once you know how. Many recipes are provided for imitating semi-precious stones and other materials as well. This is an adventure in bead making and will help you refine your skills in polymer clay. Monday, April 16th, 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. $45 plus materials.
Metal Etching Made Easy: Disc Bracelet Discover how fun and easy it is to etch your own designs into metal while creating a lovely disc bracelet. This class will expand your horizons for creating your own customized focal points: think earrings, pendants, cabochons and more. Dapping, a variety of resists/applying patterns onto metal, finishing techniques and metal sealers will be covered. This process can also be used to make texture plates for use with metal clay or polymer clay or for use with a rolling mill. Tuesday, April 17th, 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm. $60 includes materials.
