I am running a King rabbit hx 1360 plotter, which up until now i have been designing my work in signblazer then exporting my work to an EPS file and putting that on to my partners computer and using Artcut 2009 (came with the plotter) to cut my work.
So yesterday I installed the Uk version of Signblazer (no nag screen), I played with the cutter output and managed to get it to run on "generic DMPL" cutter. This allows me to cut from my laptop ,which i am stoked about .
Here comes the but the up until now i could control the cut speed from the control panel on the cutter but with the generic driver it is limited on the screen to 10mm a second. If i adjust the speed on the cutter it speed up the time between cuts but not the actual cuts.
The short of it all i was wondering if anyone had an idea to either speed up the cutter from signblazer or if there is another driver that will work with my plotter (i have tried all the king series listed)
May 16, 2014 - I notice my Mac Mini and Macbook Air trigerring the fans. Watch youtube videos on Chrome, temp goes to almost 100C. That doesn't happen. Anyone else experiencing high CPU temp on Chrome for Mac while visiting. Will cause my CPU temps to hit 172F and the fans will kick on my MacBook Air. This thread has a lot of good information, so I'd encourage everyone to read all. -One, is that you can easily monitor temperature and fan speed, and having these. Cards - are you running on 'higher performance' or 'better battery life?' Drag it onto your dock so you can have a live status of CPU usage. May 14, 2014 - Just having Chrome open causes a max frequency, thus causing the cpu temp to skyrocket (hitting over 200 at times). Is this happening to anyone else? We've had a lot of users post about Chrome taking up a relatively high amount of CPU usage. We're looking into. This is only on OSX with Chrome. Anyone else experiencing high cpu temp on chrome for mac.

I currently have a 52" Vinyl System Specialist plotter. I have been trying for the last 6 months to find a tint cutting software that is compatible with my plotter. None of the programs I have tried have my plotter on the install list. I have contacted the company that I bought my otter from and unfortunately their lack of knowledge or help was unbelievable. ( I'll post their response below). I have co tasted a couple software companies and their solution has been for me to purchase a different otter from them lol. My plotter is only 5 years old and works amazing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
How many installers are using the Cut On The Pull feature for your cutting software? Why is this feature needed? Is it just for thin static films or because the plotter isn't calibrated correctly? Curious to get some feedback.
Recently I bought a Rabbit plotter (HENGXING HX-1360).Does anyone by chance know where I can get or may have the driver for me to install for a Rabbit plotter (HENGXING HX-1360), so that I can use my Flexi 7.1 with the plotter? Any help will be greatly appreciated. It works fine with Artcut 2006 I believe RoShute had similar problem can RoShute help me. Thanks. Alfred
We're on a 30-day sample of SunTek TruCut, and ran into a small problem. I use mainly 40" rolls, and when I nest things to cut it utilizes an exact 40" box it's planning to cut on, when in reality because of the plotters rollers it's more like 38"ish. Does anyone know how to change the 40" roll setting to actual material width?
my plotter seems to have increasingly common errors where the blade will cut a zigzag across the pattern or it will just start feeding out tint endlessly until it is manually stopped. do any of you have these issues?
So i have recently been looking at a Graphtec FC 9000 series. Also thinking about getting TintTek software. Any advice or other recommendations? I'm new to tinting but with my current job I don't have as much time to work on tint. I have racked up a decent amount of jobs and not enough time. I've been doing tint for about a year now and I have a good reputation and a constant flow of vehicles coming in from jobs I've previously done. I'm thinking about getting this to help me grow my business while also working another job. Any advice helps. Thanks in advance.

Which software would be the best option for me to run this thing and would I have to buy it off or I have get the subscriptions to use. Hey what's up everyone. I am new to the tint business other then being exposed second hand. I've decided to dive into it, but I don't want to waste money. I already do paint/restorations, vinyl, spray wraps etc. Anyways, I've decided that I want to get a plotter for tints, and plan to bulk PPF. I am moving forward with SunTek products for both. My question is model and size of the plotter. After reading alot on here, graphtec seems to be the only brand to go with so I will just do that. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
if you need an image converted to a vector format for cutting im your guy. i trace every image by hand then clean everything up so you have a perfect vector image unless the image is extremely complicated i usually charge $25. contact me at 8123065147

I'm looking for a wide format plotter, hopefully in the Northwest. Interested in any inquiry but would prefer to find a graphtec, simply because theyre superior and I'm familiar with them. Looking to do mobile tinting and most of the setup i've seen are with 40" plus plotter. Anyone here mobile with 24"? Roland GX-24 is the plotter i'm looking to purchase anyone know if this plotter will be able to cut tint film?

I'm having some problems with my screen resolution. I recently changed my graphics driver, so its a driver issue, i guess. As you can see on the image, on the right side, the scroll bar it's not complete. It is not showing all the screen image as it should be.
I have found something on the main Ubuntu forums that may help you with your problem. It covers xrandr and also adjusting frequency settings, which apparently will move the display around on your monitor.
You say you changed your graphics driver. Presumably, this means you changed your GPU, yes? That being the case, there must be something about your new driver/GPU that does not communicate with your monitor in the same way., Thus, the simplest solution might be to just change the resolution. Or, at least try this out and see if it fixes it. Then, of course, you would need to decide whether or not you could tolerate the new resolution. If so, your problem would be solved. Only if not, would you need to set out off down the rabbit hole.
Hi, everyone. I am using UbMATE for raspberry Pi and have a similar problem. Years ago, when Ubuntu was on X11 and without systemD, Wayland, etc., things were better. I cannot change (reduce) the resolution of the image in the screen. So I can only use my Pi with HD TV or good/newer projectors (data-show kind). I need it to work in a lesser resolution so I can work with other monitors and data-show projectors.
Which is the easiest way to configure that? Is there an app? The control panel does not allow me to change resolution. The screen properties neither. It is locked as it is.
