We have a couple of interesting things coming up and some opportunities
to volunteer.
Tomorrow, Tuesday evening, November 28, I will be speaking with Phyllis
Bennis about the election and what we need to do now. Laura Flanders
will moderate. The talk is at the Community Church at 6:30 pm, 35th
St. between Park and Madison.
Friday, December 8 we are co-sponsoring a talk by Carolyn Ho, mother of
Lt. Ehren Watada who refused to go to Iraq and now faces court martial.
6:00 pm, Church Center for the United Nations, 777 UN Plaza (44th st &
1st ave), 2nd floor. ***we could use some help tableing at this event.

Coming up after the holidays...Major push to visit as many of NYS's 29
congressional representatives as possible - either in NYS or in D.C. as
part of UFPJ's march and lobby day Jan 27-29. We can use help
compiling materials and calling individuals and organizations who may
