upcoming volunteer/planning meeting

Peace Action New York State is holding a volunteer/planning meeting at
its new office on Thursday, October 19 at 6 pm.
Our new office is a share with United for Peace and Justice (UFPJ) at:
261 W 36th St., 7th floor between 7th and 8th Ave.
--look for a black door marked UFPJ (it's the door to the freight
elevator and trash area), ring the bell and wait for the freight
elevator operator to bring you up to the 7th floor.
We will discuss:
Plans for the Village Halloween Parade
A legislative update on war, nuclear, military spending and other
issues
Iran - what's going on and what we can do to prevent another war
Iraq
counter-recruitment in NYC

We will have some things for people to eat but feel free to bring your
own food or something to share with others.
