Hello friends,

As you know, PANYS is marching in the Village Halloween Parade this
year. There were some excellent costume ideas involving missiles, dry
ice and other fun things. But with time so short we decided to do
something that people could jump on quickly and easily.

We're going to dress up like medical personnel - doctors, nurses,
whatever you want, and we'll hand out 'Prescriptions for Peace' which
will have five things the U.S. can do to create more peace in the
world. So...if you have an old stethoscope, a set of scrubs, a doctors
coat, or some white paper from which to make a nurses cap, you are on
your way.

We will meet at the NE corner of Houston and 6th Ave between 5:45 and 6
pm. From there we will get in line for the parade which starts around
7 pm. The parade goes until around 9:30.
