Hello,

Please welcome our newest Pants Maintainer, Carina Zona!

Carina is our first maintainer whose contributions are not primarily code! Carina is an exemplar for how there are many meaningful ways to contribute to the Pants project.

Carina's proudest contribution is leading developer relations for the Pants project. Her contributions include expanding the project's outreach, such as by setting up podcasts and supporting Pants community members with conference talks; making meaningful changes to the community's culture like starting the #welcome channel; and being a continual advocate for Pants users.

Thank you, especially to Eric who pleasantly startled me by making the nomination. I've loved the challenges and rewards of building Pants developer relations for the past year. We are fortunate to have such a vibrant and friendly community of people who are passionate about contributing in so many ways to Pants' evolution. Exciting.
