The first release candidate for the 2.1.x series is now available on PyPI.

See here for a summary of the 2.1.x series so far and a link to a more detailed changelog. Major features of 2.1 include a new export-codegen goal and new pants.backend.python.mixed_interpreter_constraints backend.

As mentioned in https://groups.google.com/g/pants-devel/c/fIPGGVFlnC0/m/wJLlujKDAQAJ, we plan for this to be the last release to support running Pants through a Python 3.6 interpreter. Please see that email or the deprecation warning for more info, and let us know if this will be a blocker.

The fourth release candidate for the 2.1.x series is now available on PyPI.

This fixes an issue with relative imports and dependency inference.  See the changelog.
