Hello Panther Friends, 

Lots of stuff to share, today. >> The attachments are academic and sports schedules that may be useful to you and your family. 

Fred Cantu and KEYE-TV 42 will be doing LIVE Broadcasts at our school LIVE tomorrow, Thursday 9/6/12, early morning 5AM-7AM !!! Yay !!! 

• Our Band will be performing. They need to be at the Band hall by 4:30 AM to begin warm-ups. (Oh my goodness!) 
• Our Robotics Team will be performing, too. They need to be in the Robotics Lab at 5:15 AM. 
• I don't have the schedules for Drill Teams, etc. 
• "PEP RALLY" at 5:45 AM 

Teachers and Families, please be extra kind to these exceptional young (tired) people.

EMHS next football game is Friday, Sept 7th in San Antonio!

EMHS next volleyball game is Tuesday, Sept 11 in Victoria! 

Martin MS's Back to School night is Tuesday, Sept. 11th.

Eastside's Back to School night is Wednesday, Sept. 12th. 

AISD High School Late Start Day Thursday, Sept. 13th. (There are ten this year.) School Buses & Start Times begin one hour later than usual. (See attached flyer for information.)

Thanks for passing along events at your schools. Especially those in our EM Vertical Team. 

I appreciate you all very, very much. 

And, if anyone can help out to make sure that our Teams get fed properly, on the road. There is a lot of contact information at the bottom of the Football and Volleyball flyers. >> Football, contact Coach Darrell Crayton 414-5841. Volleyball, Coach Glenda Washington 841-6614. The Band Director is Alan Guckian 414-5831. You can get in touch with the new Dance Coach through the EMHS office 414-2310. And, the Robotics Coach is Jerry Moldenhauer 841-5909. 

Finally, I wish to share a kudos for our EMHS Family. Last Friday, August 31st, we 50+(?) and Students were out at St. Andrews Upper School (HS) playing some football. The final score was wider than we like. But I want to complement our kids. Our football players did not give up, or act badly. They played with honor and determination until the final whistle. So did our Band, trying out some new tunes. And the Cheer and Dance Teams obviously were training over the summer. They were spectacular!   Almost as impressed, was the St. Andrew's Groundskeeper. He came along after the game to clean up the inevitable mess in the stands. But there wasn't any!  I had picked up 3 empty cups and a soda can, before he got there. But, almost everyone had cleaned up after THEMSELVES.  He was really impressed by that.  !!! YAY !!!    :-D
