Before anything else, I must say a very big THANK YOU to the campus family of Anderson High School. On Friday 26 April 2013, the Anderson HS Key Club and the Trojans hosted a "Faculty vs Students" basketball game as a Fundraiser for the 2013 Project Graduation Party for OUR Panther Seniors of Eastside Memorial HS. Their efforts raised about $1500 from a very generous community. I really cannot thank them enough for their kindness. Bless y'all. :-D

Saturday 5/4> The EMHS Prom was fantastic! Great venue at Saengerrunde Hall (Scholz Garten). (
1607 San Jacinto Blvd. (512) 243-2629.) I have visited Scholz, once or twice. But not the adjoining building. They have a Bowling Alley!!! The Panthers had a great time ruining their wrists while wearing Prom clothes! Ha! Many thanks to the fantastic volunteers and generous donors that made this happen for our students. PURRRR !!!
Sunday 5/5, AA-S page C-10 > Eastside HS Senior & football player, Mr. Trey Meza, is one of 45 central Texas student athletes being honored by the Greater Austin Chapter of the National Football Foundation. During a banquet, several $1000 scholarships will be awarded!
The Eastside Robotics Team "Miracles & Machines" (FRC 3320) made another cool robot. This year's challenge? Design and build a 'bot that can play frisbee golf !!! We made it to the quarter finals before finishing at a team ranking of 35/50. >>
