Superintendent Carstarphen is working with AISD's Board of Trustees and affected communities to initiate the formulation of a plan for the future of Eastside Memorial High School at the Johnston Campus. Austin Voices, a local education non-profit, will be facilitating the conversation. Spanish interpretation and childcare will be available. For ASL services, please contact 414-2667.

Needed to Apply for
Austin's Redistricting Commission
|
The Austin City Auditor, Ken Mory, continues to seek applicants for the 10-ONE Redistricting Process with
a special call to women, minority groups, and students to increase the diversity of the applicant pools to better reflect the rich diversity of the Austin community.
The League of Women Voters of the Austin Area is sponsoring workshops to provide information and support to those considering applying to serve on the Redistricting Commission.

Tues., Feb. 12, 6:30 - 8 p.m. Co-sponsored by IACT, Indian American Coalition of Texas, who especially invite all in the Asian community to participate. Held at the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, 3423 Greystone, Suite 202, Austin TX 78731.

Sat., Feb. 16, 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. South Austin Recreation Center,1100 Cumberland Rd., Austin, TX 78702. Come anytime during that period.
