From Dr. Pont
Dear SHAC,
I just wanted to let
you know about an upcoming grand rounds presentation of potential
interest. For Grand Rounds on Friday October 18th, 7:30am at Dell Children’s, we’ll enjoy the real treat of
having award winning author and founder of the Children & Nature Network Rich
Louv with us. Rich will speak about the important health benefits of
getting children and families active
and involved with nature. He speaks all over the US and so we're very
lucky to have him talking at Dell Children's. I also hope to have a
number of nature-based folks in the audience too, in order to further
connect medical and nature-based folks. Grand
Rounds is a free lecture geared towards a medical audience, but anyone with interest is welcome to attend.
Below are some links to his blog and books and if you have any questions please let me know.
Best regards,
Stephen Pont
