Good morning! I am a researcher at Tsinghua University. I found Pantheon in the process of verifying my ideas. First of all, I want to thank you for your contribution to the community! Secondly, I know that you would no longer maintain the function of Pantheon, but in terms of my research, I could not find a good enough substitute.

If I still use Pantheon to complete the offline simulation and quote it in the paper, will you think it would be affected by the suspension of maintenance and lack of persuasiveness? Or do you have any suggestions on using Pantheon?

Looking forward for your reply! Thank you!

Hello Qihang,

Pantheon's software still functions normally, so you can run it locally in emulation or between nodes on your own testbed.

Although Pantheon's testbed is out of service, my colleagues at MSRA have built another testbed that can serve the same purpose, called OpenNetLab (https://opennetlab.org/). It is currently only open to OpenNetLab community members for use though. Please send me an email at francisy [at] microsoft.com if you are interested to use it in your evaluation, and I'll connect you to my colleagues for a discussion.

Best,
Francis
