Hello,

Thanks for reaching out!

0.57mbps-poisson.trace means that the trace has an average bandwidth of 0.57 Mbps with "packet delivery opportunities" following a Poisson point process.

The numbers in each trace file are exactly the "packet delivery opportunities" -- a Mahimahi trace format. For a line that has a number "N" in it, it means that one MSS-sized packet (typically 1500 bytes) can be delivered by the emulated network at the N-th ms.

Best,
Francis

Hi,

When using Pantheon for congestion control test, I have one question to ask:
(1)   0.57mbps-poisson.trace and other 13 trace file, I know they are calibrated network parameters. So, what does it mean, for example 0.57mbps-poisson.trace? And the content of this file is a lot of numbers from 100 to 60027. What do these numbers mean?

Thank you, and looking forward to hearing from you!
