Hi there!Has anyone else encountered such a problem:
when the error log appears after the saving it lists lines that are not existing in the file. For example it says:
....po:7022: `msgid' and `msgstr[0]' entries do not both end with '\n'
OK, but when I look back I can't find such a line!
Or I got something wrong?

>From my experience you have forgotten to put the placeholder (such as "\n") in one or more lines of translated string.

Yes, that I know. But the problem is that I can't find the numbers of the strings that the log file quotes so that I can fix them! :( For example there is 7026 and 7018 but the string 7022 is missing. There is no such number in the file. There are 8 such errors in my file and I can find none of these numbers. :(

Therefore I usually save the file every, say, 10 edits.

Hi, please read my post http://www.panoramio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33961 where i was in the same situation. To correct those PO Errors, OPEN THE .PO FILE WITH PSPAD (the program does have LINE NUMBERS-you can see exactly where is the Error).

But first, please read my post, where i explained some examples of errors in PoEditor Message Error Windows....after that, if you have trouble, send me the PO FIle, and i will correct the empty spaces (lines) for you...

The New Notepad Editor is PSPAD (and not Notepad++, sorry for the mistake). I used PsPad for correcting the PO FIle...

You can download PSPAD from here: http://www.pspad.com/

Thanks for the reply ,Vice28. Fortunately, I solved the problems and I was so glad to see there were 0 errors afterwards! ;)

Standart editor fo PO file is Poedit which is has ability to display line number for PO file. You just click tab "View" than "Display line numbers", that's all.

have a nice day,
Iwan
