-If you have no idea you can name your image,
-If you want to let the reader a true pleasure of travelling without phrases that can't explain your photo,
-If you don't want your photo to be named "Untitled"
-If naming it " " doesn't prevent your photo from automatically being renamed "Untitled" :

Then, do not use " " (keyboard)
Use this invisible character :"‌‌‌‌ " (copy/paste that) so you can leave it blank : no explanations, only leave free the view for your beautiful artwork.

My gallery will show you best:

Nice find. Thanks for sharing the idea.

Just another possible alternative: Considering the Panoramio link to Google Earth, one might simply name the photo with the direction in which the photo was taken.

Interesting tip,

How are you using the keyboard to create the invisible character to start with?

Thanks

I think he uses the Windows Character Map codes. You can find them in Programs> Accessories> System Tools

If I hovered over an icon in Google Earth and no title appeared , I think I would assume there was no photo either and move to another icon.

Very true!! I mostly open photos in GE as a result of the title making me curious or points to something of interest. To me a photo without a title is like a person without a name!!

Not to be confused with a horse with no name.

Why a band formed in Europe would call itself America is beyond me, and why they couldn't just give the stupid horse a name is beyond me as well.

A quick "Google" brings up this answer http://macosx.com/forums/mac-os-x-system-mac-software/49639-character-map-mac.html
