It would be nice if user could toggle photo icons on the map to make it easier to find and set location of new photos.

We often know general location, but pin pointing photo can sometimes be difficult, toggling icons may make this easier.

Hi, Lady, I understand you are from Thailand. So I think most of your photos are made in Thailand. "Google Street View" is available there. So you can use "Street View" in most cases to pinpoint your photos on the exact spot. Of course there has to be a road in the vicinity. In the "wild" where there are no roads this does not work unfortunately.

Greetings, Wim

Yes, Wim you are right street-view can help for fine tuning when you know almost where you were. ;-) but Thailand roads can be like maze, a clump of icons could quickly help find a place from a high altitude. ;-)

I could have misunderstood the question here but...

As far as I remember, isn't it so that you can click already mapped photos in the uploader map gallery, and the place mark for the photo in the map changes color?

You can see only photos in the Uploader map that you are just uploading and have placed.
I think she wants to be able to see photos that have been uploaded long before and by others, too (just like you can switch photos on and off in google maps), to be able to check if the location of her photos is showing the same place.
Of course this could be also be done in a second Panoramio map tab in the browser, but having all in one would be more convenient.
