Yesterday I created a Panoramio group with ID 360000 - World's survey benchmarks.
I didn't succeed in creating group using new Panoramio, but in the forums I found link how to switch to old Panoramio and after that it seems, that everything went smoothly.

I added some photos, but now I see, that there are 12 photos in the group, but only 6 of them are being showed on the map, if I press "View on the map" link in Group view.
Additionaly, I can see link for creating KML file of the group at the bottom of the map, which reads "http://www.panoramio.com/kml/?group=360000", but in the KML file there is completely different group with a lot of photos.

Is it possible to fix it?

Hi andrius

there are some issues (already reported to admins) in placing photos into map layers. So not showing all photos on Panoramio map could be related.
But your photos were uploaded only one day ago, so this may be also reason (photos in map layers are not shown instantly). I even cannot see photos from your gallery in Google Earth using your personal KML http://www.panoramio.com/kml/?user=8173049.
Same for (same) photos in your group http://www.panoramio.com/kml/?group=360000.
In this case I suggest you to wait some time and check again.

BTW, I cannot see different photos within your group. Your group seems to be completely empty (now).
Note: "fake" empty folders in large tree structure in left pane in Google Earth for loaded KML file is normal.

Tomas - I've never understood those folders on the Google Earth page. What's the point, folders inside of folders to see one image? I have no idea how to view my images inside those folders. I've never seen another reference so this may be the wrong place to ask, but it is associated with Panoramio, so if anyone can explain how those folders are supposed to work, I'm interested in an answer.

Well, from my profile I can see 12 photos in my group.

Roger Heath,

I believe the folders are there for the Google Earth application to use.  In some uses (such as creating your own locations), they are useful, but for Panoramio KML/KMZ files, the best thing is to never even open the folder view because there are so many empty folders there it is all worse than useless.  It is probably due to a limitation in the Google Earth application itself, but I am just speculating.

I have explained this somewhere else in the forum. Here's a summary:-
To save time the folders are loaded on demand.
When you zoom in GE collects the data for the top photos for the area you zoom in to, building the top level folders as needed.
As you zoom in closer GE collects the data for the lower photos you zoom in to, adding lower zoom level folders as needed.

This also happens with the Panoramio map. I've used an old group I had and re-named it, then added some photos. These are all old photos and appear in other groups on the map. But here they do not appear in this group: http://www.panoramio.com/group/359700 The top level photos are there but you have to zoom very close to the group before other photos are seen, ie the middle layers are missing.
