Google Earth "Ruler" problem

I don't know what happened with this but, when I go to GE Options and open the Ruler and choose "Path" I am no longer able to move the map with the mouse while measuring like was the case before?! It is only possible to do that by using up-down-right-left buttons on my keyboard. My version of Google Earth is 5.2.1.1329 (beta). Anyone knows anything about it?

I don't know better then that you have to use the arrow keys when using the ruler.

I think this is more a question for the GE forum.

I don't have GE immediately available right now, but isn't there a checkbox for that on the dialog? It may be on the other tab.

resident1: It's a known bug with the current version; they've said that it should be fixed in the next update, although I don't know when that will be pushed.

Is that a Google Earth Community tab in GE Help options that leads to GE forum webpage? If so, I've already been there but as I somehow cannot manage there. I'll try again thanks.

Btw, using arrow keys is not practical at all, it makes you working too slow and I simply haven't used to do that with the arrow keys. Don't know if that is only me but I was more pleased with earlier GE versions as installing the new versions again and again brings more and more troubles.

That is correct, there is a check tab for "mouse navigation" in the "Ruler" window and I have that checked but regardless, can't do it with the mouse, no response. Only if I choose "Line" option the program allows me to use a mouse navigation.

It is a known bug with this version and they said it should be fixed? Could you give me a link where they provide such infos? Was that on GE community forums where they have said that?

PS: older versions of GE, as good as old wines, no bugs no nothing : ))
