Hello i created this account for my dad so he want to upload pictures to google earth so everyone can see them in exact location where its taken! For now we tried to upload just one image and waited 10 days but we still dont see it in google earth. :( When it will be shown and will it be shown? I see bunch of other users images in google earth perfectly and dont offend but allmost all are missplaced! :) And the one which we uploaded is not visible... :( I just want to know if it will be visible in google earth so i can tell my dad that he can upload all other images.

Thanks.

It can take some time, but there is a shortcut in the meantime. At the top of the user page (the user page shows the gallery) should be a link "view in Google Earth." If you click that, a .kml file can download that will appear in Google Earth. The down side is it only works for one computer.

Sometimes, beginners think photos are misplaced because they are not on the subject. But the policy here is to map the photo where the camera was, not on the subject.

First of all your photo has to meet the criteria:
http://www.panoramio.com/help/policies_legalities
When your photo is mapped and big enough the photo is reviewed. Recently I’ve seen reviews 10 minutes after uploading up to 8 days, but it can take longer. A blue compass appears under your photo on the photopage.
>From that moment you have to wait for one of the next data transfers to Google Earth. Those are normally once a month. That doesn’t mean your photo is in the next transfer but can be in the transfer a month later. So 6 weeks to 2 months after upload is normal, everything under it is super!
Photos are visible at very low altitude in the beginning!

Is there a normal at Panoramio? I recently had a photo appear in GE less than 3 days after it was uploaded. It appears to be the only one in the world where that happened.

Yes you got lucky (again), still asking myself if you are shareholder with Google :D

It seems that the photos selected between December 11 and your photo haven't been "marked" as selected (or something like that, my guess). They are only visible on the Panoramio map when you select the box "also show photos not selected for GE". the team has been informed, so we wait (again). What's normal? That's normal
