My Photos aren't showing up on map

Hi, I've posted a number of photos but when I go to click on the map to see my photos displayed, only some of them show up (the ones I posted in Oak Square, but not the ones I posted for Fields Corner). Can you someone help me figure out why?

Also, some of the photos post with a large icon on the map and others with a small icon. Is there any way to get these to be consistent? It looks very haphazard in this way.

I don't think you have read the status of each photo, which is shown below them on the photo page.

I recommend your clicking on the question mark (a link to the Photo Acceptance Policy).

If I were you I would pay close attention to the copyright section.

We all are eagerly waiting for photos from October up to January to appear New ones do appear. The team has told in an other thread that they are working to show them, so please have some more patience, we can only wait..

We're indeed still investigating the situation of some photos from Q4 2013 approved for Earth not yet showing up in Earth.

In the meantime, if you'd give us the links to 2-3 specific photos of yours that are in this situation, that'd help us debug this.  Thanks!

Once the link between Panoramio and GE is fixed, will all those photos that have been accepted by Panoramio be uploaded to GE? I have 9 pages of photos since early Nov 2013 that have been accepted and I just want to know whether it is worth adding any more. It seems to be a waste of time at the moment.

The reports I read in the several fora are that the delay only concerns a large batch of photos between mid October and mid December. Photos uploaded after mid December are visible in the GE desktop version within 24 hrs up to some days. Mobile GE and any GM version except the classic one only show a fraction of the of amount photos that are uploaded.

None of mine since early November are showing in GE. Not to worry, I'll just postpone any additions until it is sorted out. It was good while it lasted.

Hi!  With Adam Lasnick’s “investigating the situation of some photos from Q4 2013” and HVBemmel’s “the delay only concerns a large batch of photos between mid October and mid December.” another post seems worth it given this problem still occurs, IME.  While I really only started this month, I’d roughly estimate that only about 60-65% of my selected shots show up on Google Earth, at least so far.  I’ve listed 6 shots below that don’t appear, though I’ll note that the first one might have been selected only last week due to a second review request, and the last in the list is from last week anyway (to give someone something current to work with if useful).  I hope all this helps to shed more a recent light on the problem.  That is, methinks it’s not an issue that ended last year - it’s ongoing…

Note that my shots from 14 days ago started showing up within a day or two and note that many of my shots aren’t in congested-shot areas so it should make them easy to find.  To put numbers to this, there may only be one other shot within a Km radius of where I place mine, and it can be pretty well all pure-white icefield (again, *should be* easily found).  If you want more images, I’ll gladly help out.

One question, though…  Do we know whether the shots that aren’t appearing will have to be re-uploaded or can they be salvaged from Google/Panaramio’s existing data files?

P.S.  This is off-topic for Panaramio, but does anyone know how we submit corrections to Google Earth?  There’s a “Mt. Forbes” in Alberta that when zoomed in very close with Google Earth has 2 green mountain icons, one erroneously stating it as “Golden Eagle Peak”.  In reality, Golden Eagle is a named shoulder of Mt. Forbes and is .27 Kms away on a bearing of 144 degrees.  No real need for a response but thought you guys will know more than me.  Again, TIA if possible.

2 weeks, shorter considering that the photos have been reviewed first and can be send to GE only after review, is to short a period to complain about photos not showing up even if other photos (reviewed by an other reviewer?) are already showing up. We still consider everything within two months as being normal

I have 360 photos going back to February 2014 that have been selected for Google Earth but still don't appear on it!  Perhaps Google should stop making things like driverless cars and concentrate on projects they are already involved in.

• There are certainly some things not working great at the moment on Panoramio, and I apologize for that... but on the more positive side, I am confident that longer term we'll have exciting yet more stable times.  The waiting is frustrating for all of us... and so I thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Because this function is broken (again), and hasn't been repaired yet. The whole panoramio map is frozen since 23rd of June.

I have uploaded a lot of photos from my trip to madagascar and about 80 were already accepted for google earth however the map is not updated.  I was so excited to have a camera that geotagged by photos so I could use this application but now it's a bummer.  is there a solution to this problem?

This problem has been around for a long time. In fact for the whole of this year this facility has been broken far more often than it has been working, As Google has officially announced that it is pulling the plug on Panoramio, I doubt whether this will ever be fixed.

I'm experiencing the same issue.  I have a number of photos that have been "Selected for Google Earth and Google Maps", but which neither show up in Google Earth, nor receive any views.  In contrast, I have several recent pictures which have been accepted, ARE visible on Google Earth and have received hundreds of views.  This lead me to believe some of the pictures were accepted, but never went 'live' for some reason.  That's how I found this thread.  Is there a resolution?

I'm experiencing the same issues. None of my photos uploaded from Dec 23 and thereafter (even though they've all been approved and "selected for Maps and Earth" a day or two after uploading, sometimes even on the same day) are appearing on Maps or Earth.
I've read the replies, that there's a backlog and it may take "several weeks", but almost 3 months - is that normal? Anyone else having such a big gap? It never happened before to me, always took 2 weeks max before, so should I try to re-upload? (user page: http://www.panoramio.com/user/384721)
Of course I already tried things like clearing the cache in GE multiple times, doesn't work

One exception though is http://www.panoramio.com/photo/116541365 (ironically my newest upload) because it happens to be near other, already existing and displaying photos I guess. In the highest zoom level in GE, the photo does not appear. But when I zoom out a little so that the two neighbouring, already existing photos (close to where mine should be) are combined into a single "multiple photos" symbol and I click that, it suddenly appears as the third photo of the "multiple" ones - so it appears that my photos are there as "ghosts" or something (further explanation in attached image)
This one, as well as the others, doesn't appear in Maps though no matter the zoom level

I found out that it show only pictures which have the same location like photo which was uploaded befere my photo. It lokes that the servers have problem to create new locations.
