I did the necessaries so my panoramio photos would be transferred to album archive.  It looks like most photos were transferred, but some weren't.  I lost a lot of photos I had stored on my computer six years ago, so some of the photos not transferred could be permanently lost.

Anyone have a contact on this?

IMHO, transfer goes in "rounds" and is not completed yet. I was hit by two transfer rounds, I have < 400 photos transferred so far (of ~5 000).
My wild guess: Googlers realised how bad is the implementation of the transfer and they are working on a better version (and they may be also finalising the "housing" of photos in GE, GM).

I had made similar experience. Some photos, less than 20%, have been transferred on begin of March - nothing happened since.
Interesting is that photos had been transferred mainly from five specific locations, with quite big time gaps in between. But not even those blocks were complete.
All transferred photos in the google archive have the same date, of the transfer day - what a total disaster!
So after not transferring the photo location, and not transferring the categories, they also failed in something as simply as keeping the photo date.
Another prove that the G-Maps team is completely unwilling and unable to do any job right related to Panoramio.
