Another way - very good web-service GetPanoramio from Panoramio user Vladimir Kleschev - grab your photo pages (and export in the new version):
(only in russian now, beta)

There's also this from user Tibx https://ssl.panoramio.com/user/14514

I made a program to export all user data from Panoramio (photo titles, descriptions, locations, tags, statistics + download photo thumbnails and bigger photos to the local website + export the list to MS Excel.

So maybe this helps someone ...

Do any of the programmes to download the photos work for MAC OS X?

Thanks

They both are Windows-EXEs, to run on Windows.

To use them on a Mac, you have to install Windows on your Mac (from wherever you get a CD or an image)
No Problem with OSX.
Either using Apple's Bootcamp software, or one of the virtualisation products.

I use PARALLELS all the time, and tried PanoramioSaver in a Win7 virtual machine on my old MacPro (2008 vintage).
No problem at all.
I'm sure Windows with Bootcamp will work just as well.

worked like a charm for the last 4000 photos, but the other 2500 are not there.

Thank you. useful software.
But i too late to use this app, many data is lost, e.g. position, like, views, tag.....so sad.

@ TibX

I posted this yesterday in the other discussion, but I copy it here, as it's a more appropriate thread :

Sorry if I write something inconsistent as I'm no web/computer expert, but wouldn't it be possible to modify your wonderful PanoramioExport utility so that it downloads all user data from Google Cache instead as from our dying Panoramio ? I've been using the URLs provided in your Index.htm file (for example : http://www.panoramio.com/photo/133207814) to retrieve cached Panoramio pages where at least position, geo coordinates and tags are still visible (for example : http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.panoramio.com/photo/133207814). We still miss the views stats, but that's not very important...

To access cached pages, I used : http://cachedview.com/  and "Google Web Cache" button.

Thanks a lot in advance,
Raphael

@ TibX

I noticed that many of my images that Google automaticly copied to photos.google.com do in fact still contain geotags !
TibX: Would you be able to write something like your Panoramio Export software, to recover geotags from photos.google.com?

best regards...

Hey all,

Is there any way to export my photos in a .kml format?
TibX's PanoramioExport worked great for that, but since it took so long to export all of my photos I only managed to get photos from from 2014-2016.

I actually emailed him and he said that the program still works for him. But for some reason I get an error when I try to look up any profile.
I just want the .kml file because I already have all of my photos.
Is there any way to get it?

Thanks!

Guys, a wild card enquiry at this late stage but i still want to ask. If i know a user who has contributed extensively in a geographic area that I'm interested in, is there any way to bulk download their images (with or without geotag) from their user page?

I feel sick to the stomach that this INCREDIBLE TIME of community resource is going to be lost to history. I wish there were some way to archive it, some rich philanthropist willing to by the rights... Something... Anything....

Any update on another way to download pages? From Panoramio with/without geotags, Google Maps, anything?

Thx

I'm sorry mallyan, I don't have a secret key for this.
You probably know that you can still download photos in full res from your own account.
And of course from anybody else who is willing to disclose his password or upload takeout files.
If you're interested in my pics, we could find a deal (I'm not planning to make any money with photos anyways).

Many Panoramistas copied their photos to Ipernity (including myself, as ZIPP).
Bad news is: Ipernity will probably close end of January...

But there are other services, which will probably get used by pano/Ipernity-refugees, once Ipernity goes out of business.
Like 500px.com or 23hq.com (I signed up with both, but uploaded only few pics so far).

Don't panic - all your tags, GPS locations and friendly comments have been saved on the WaybackMachine.
Here's mine:-

Go to the home page and search for www.panoramio.com/user/2419040
with your number.
So you have plenty of time to recover your data. There is an API that may make it easier https://archive.org/help/wayback_api.php but I'm not sure how it works.

@IPAAT.

I know it's late in the piece but when i visit the link given below I can't see any way to utilise this even with the dumbed down version of panoramio.

Question now IS... is it possible to make this work for the WayBack Machine (Thanks QuentinUK! http://web.archive.org/web/20160314181532/http://www.panoramio.com/user/2419040)

Thanks

Matthew is it just me or does the exe file not run for this (anymore?)

I've downloaded and tried it on a few machines. Extract all. Run exe and then... nothing

Unfortunately, only some pages have been recorded in WaybackMachine, and the last archive might be old - 22nd October 2013 in my case (https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.panoramio.com/user/1076411).

Besides, you'll only get a "picture" of your Panoramio homepage at this date : if you click on your photos, you'll be back to the present day Panoramio ruins...

Too bad.

Hi, Just talking about (( Panoramio Account ))

When I followed the instructions and click the ( connect to Google+ account ) button, then I got a error message saying the the connection is failed

I tried again but found the button has changed to ( Disconnect from google plus) as shown in the screenshot.
does this mean that I am now already connected and my photos have been shifted safely??

But
I went to my Google+ account but I couldn't find my Panoramio photos anywhere !!!!
Could you advice
