I uploaded spheric images from my Google+ into Panoramio. Why are they shown as flattened panoramas instead of being maintained as shperes?

did you check the spherical image box? click "change photo settings" under "photo details" at the right side of the photo and check the box spherical panorama.
BTW spherical images are better shown and get more priority on GM using Views

Thanks for the suggestions. All worked well,and I like Views better. Since you are an expert in spheres, do you know how can I fix the black wholes in the sky and bottom of some older images that I took. Unlike irregular spots, I can't see the wholes in Photoshop and simply use the clone tool.
