I use a Canon A550 Powershot and am in an electric wheelchair.  Does anyone have any suggestions for simple inexpensive ways to mount the camera on the chair?

I started using a Joby GorillaPod a week ago and it was fairly stable.  Today, however, one of the legs broke as I was trying to hook it on.  There is barely any lip on the arm to hook the GorillaPod to it so I have to work pretty hard to secure it and I suspect that's why it broke. My grip strength is non-existent and I really don't need anything complicated or expensive.  Tahnks

I found this instruction which would fit nicely on my wifes wheelchair, but it will of course be highly dependable on your chair, your camera and your needs. There are a loads of instructions available after a Google search:

For a really sturdy mount that is unlikely to shake loose whilst you're moving you can't beat the Manfrotto Super Clamp.
Is £20 ( $35 ) too expensive for something that will give reliable service and last a lifetime ?
For accurate camera positioning I would add a cheap ball head.
I've used the Manfrotto to mount a heavy DSLR on a car roof rack.
