Silhouettes in front of the reflecting sun make a pleasing element, especially the near one, who seems to be contemplating the boat or the view, which is always a good way to invite your viewer into a photograph. The fact that the other figure is not engaged with either the near figure or the rest of the photograph makes him, for me, a distraction. Also, his head aligning with the horizon feels a bit uncomfortable. For the boat, I wonder if a lower angle that put the canopy in front of the light sky would be more pleasing. As is, the whole right side is dark and kind of blah. Also, as with one of the photos you posted here before, the horizon is tilted, and not in a good way. Lastly, that bright thing jutting in on the lower right is not a plus.
