Look, after a silence of 4 days and 22 hours and 13 minutes and 10 seconds
there is a new posting in the help forum.

Panoramio lives and the help forum is alive and there are no new problems.
How nice, or perhaps a bit too quiet?

Even in the highest moments of Panoramio, sometimes the forum is quiet. Besides, what about the language forums?

With all due respect: I am not in the habit of discussing for discussing's sake.

Have a good day!

It´s that time of year one should use the good light to take some pictures or at least enjoy the weather.  Why on earth should people go to a forum. For the rest I agree with Draken, discussing just in order to keep discussing just doesn´t do it for me.

Cheers

I do not understand why some moderators always think they have to give an opinion on each posting. I do not force anyone to discussion, but anyone who wants can join a miscellaneous friendly chat.

By the way, in Europe there are also areas which had a lot of bad weather in the last few days. Good opportunity to photograph flooding and misery, who want such things.

Does "freedom of speech" ring a bell?  :–)

For me ring the bells that we run off the topic when we now discuss about the "freedom of speech".

Remember, the topic was, that I found it very unusual that at best conditions (everything goes as before, no new problems) almost five days no one has posted anything in the Help Forum.

Anyone who wants to say something about this, should come forward and say it or not.

I do not understand all the fuss about.
For such themes, there is this forum "Events & miscellaneous friendly chat, organize and talk about events, and share other thoughts as well". Chat with other people, if you want to talk and if you find others who wish the same.

It was you who derailed this thread by saying "I do not understand why some moderators always think they have to give an opinion on each posting" in the first place. Please refrain from making personal remarks about off-topic issues if you want the thread to continue normally.

Draken,
If you accuse me wrong, then give me the opportunity to defend myself. That would be fair.
See the hardcopy image with the chronological sequence:

So it was chronologically:

15:46 The thread was opened.

15:51 Came your first answer and with your question "... what about the Language forums"

16:20 For this I could only refer to a poll thread, how the user use the language forums
.
16:31 Your rude response:
"With all due respect: I am not in the habit of discussing for discussing's sake. Have a good day!"

16:53 The next unfriendly response and rebuke came of hvbemmel:

"It´s that time of year one should use the good light to take some pictures or at least enjoy the weather.  Why on earth should people go to a forum. For the rest I agree with Draken, discussing just in order to keep discussing just doesn´t do it for me. Cheers"

18:15 Only in response to these two unfriendly answers came my question why do you respond when you do not want to chat.

So it was, you Draken and Herman have begun to fall upon me. I have done to you nothing, but you both want to be rude and attack me personally. That was not gentlemanlike of you.

18:25
And then another attempt by you to continue the escalation, or what should it be otherwise?

"Does "freedom of speech" ring a bell? :–)"

And now you claim even that I started the conflict! I, who wanted to chat peacefully with someone who wants it.

This thread, you can now probably forgotten, but everyone should see you as you treat me unkind.
That was incorrect. All readers should judge it and they will form their own opinions.
