Question 1: Can all users participate in as many threads as they please?

Answer 1: Yes, of course.

Question 2: Are moderators also users?

Answer 2: Yes, of course.

Question 3: Is there any rule prohibiting moderators to participate in as many threads as they please?

Answer 3: Of course there isn't!

Question 4: Why moderators should have a reduced freedom of speech?

Answer 4: No, they shouldn't since they hold the same rights as any other users.

– "I do not understand why some users always think they have to give an opinion on each posting" is as inadequate a statement as "I do not understand why some moderators always think they have to give an opinion on each posting".

This is the thread to discuss about why some users want to have a finger in every pie or why some moderators want to have a finger in every pie, not any other thread. Please expose your arguments.

Thanks!!
