Interesting article in NY Times Blog regarding various aspects of ethics in photography.

There is a world of difference in Photography and Photojournalism.  But journalism is deservedly one of the least respected professions (even lower than politicians, trash collectors, and used car salesmen), I tend to transfer some of that disdain onto photojournalists.  To me, it is no surprise that there is a serious lack of ethics among photojournalists.

I only know one and I think he´s OK. Met him many times in the English fora, in the Dutch forum, over email and met him personally in Barcelona on the EMEA GEO conference 2011. Exceptions should confirm the rule :-)

While I have never met Hans, his photography is excellent and his participation in this forum has always been honest, to the point, helpful, and polite.

Hans is a gentleman. An honest, ethical professional. I have never met him but I have had an extensive communication with him (in the fora and through private emails).

I totally agree!
Wherever, whenever he can, Hans will help you as much as he can!
