Try to refresh the page, this usually helps, at least in my case, or try another browser.

good question Alexandru.
usually I use the firefox (now in v 7). I've tried the chromium v 15.0.874.106 and opera v 11.50. Same Error!

About refreshing page, don't know, but sure more than hundred refreshes last days (maybe a week).

Another problem (says the help pages) was if I didn't convert my Panoramio account to a Google one. But I'm sure I've made this long time ago.

problem persists!
Thank you Alexandru

How about sending a PM to the group owner, having him take back the moderator invitation. And then, invite you again.

Also, make sure you are properly signed in in both Panoramio and Google.

Hmm... looks like more serious problem than browser error.
Last resort is to try different computer.

Google Account question: you are already member of more groups - so this is not definitely source of problems.

If your problem persists on different computer, only site admins can help you - looks like some bug in invitation manager database.

Yes, I am. Definitely other source... (I'd say)

Agree! I thought my initial forum topic was about help also from the support team.
Already sent to questions at panoramio dot com. If some one know if this is not the correct address, please advise me!
Thank you,

Email is correct.
I'll try to get some additional attention from admins for your problem.

Please, send to this thread identification of group to which you cannot accept invitation in the form http://www.panoramio.com/group/xxxxx

I am afraid this is a bug... yes, I could repro it.

Please do not reject the invitation yet, we are checking this out.

Many thanks.

Hi guys,

Two more people reported me the same problem!!!
My question is:
Is there a limit for the number of moderators in a group?
Because, if there is... maybe that´s the answer!
In my opinion there´s no reason to put a limit on the number of moderators.
My guess is that there´s a limit and that limit is 100... and that´s where the bug is!

Greetings from Portugal,
Mário Eloi Castro

Which group has 100 moderators?

Hi Draken, :)

Panoramio Portugal has got 1 owner + 99 moderators and joseluissc is trying to become the 100´th moderator!

That´s the reason of my question...

Abrazo,
Mário Eloi Castro

 Interesting trust experiment. A group I'm a member of tried the same. Then one dude decided to delete a lot of photos. A lot of photos disappeared before he was stopped, and then, all moderators were booted off their rights. I hope your users are more trustworthy.

Perhaps this is not a bug then, but a built in limitation.

Hi RoarX,

The group's idea is to join all the Portuguese Panoramio members in a single group.
If you look at our avatar that says: Visit our group / Visit our country! :D
So I do not believe that after what we are experiencing in our country, there is a Portuguese wanting to destroy our group!
We have to trust one another, and all moderators are Portuguese ... at least in their heart!

A quite noble idea Mário, which I like! I guess I've lost a bit of faith in humans after moderating some difficult groups. Good luck with your Portuguese group! :D

Thank you, RoarX!

Regarding the issue that brought us here, is there a solution or not ?
I do not understand why impose limits on trust!
Can I only trust in 99 people?! And if they are 100, why can not I?!
If this limit exists, why was it not mentioned anywhere? Don´t you think it was important to have it done... :?

Mário, I might miss something... but why you need 100 moderators in the group? Do they all really need and actively use functions for moderation?

Such a group cannot be moderated. 100 moderators cannot coordinate their work. It is anarchy. :)

P.S. did you try to remove some moderator - it could release clinch which trapped joseluissc?

I'm a member of Panoramio Portugal and accepted to be a moderator because Mário is a great guy and there's always those photos that nobody else know of it. Panoramio is huge and there are all kind of aproches to deal with it. Myself, for exemple, I would rotule my participation as bipolar: periodes of full intense participation intercalated by long absense (when I dedicate more time to my other hobbies). Others seem to live for Panoramio exclusively. And there are those that upload a bunch of pics and then vanish. I found one guy with some really good pictures (mainly from Portugal) but with a very few views and zero comments in all of them. I checked is last added photo and it was from 2007 or something. I tried my luck and posted a comment at one my favorites pics from him and... voilá: he did response, basically saying that he was more into Flickr. So, if Mario's main goal is to join all the Portuguese Panoramio participants (including the "only visitor" ones), all of us are few to help him on that task. There are hidden treasures in Panoramio and each one can try to help with 'their' own secrets.

In the Panoramio Portugal group, I sent invitations to the moderators so that they become owners. Many of them have answered saying they can not accept the invitation because when they do it it shows a a message saying "Erro ao modificar o convite".
I sent again the invitations and the problem remains!  :(
This is different from the moderators limit, for I have seen many groups with many owners...
Thank you for your help in trying to solve this problem.

Best Regards,
Mário Eloi Castro
