I used to be quite sniffy about photos taken with mobile phone cameras, but this week I was going to the Ideal Home Exhibition at Earls Court and thought that I might as well capture a picture or two using my mobile phone rather than taking my camera as well.
http://www.panoramio.com/photo/104508057 is the result (four stationary shots thrown into Microsoft ICE to create the panorama). I could have also created a panorama directly in the camera by panning. While I won't be getting rid of any of my digital cameras, it is good to know that even using available light indoors, one can get good pictures on a modern camera phone. Does anyone else here make use of the camera in their mobiles for serious photography?
