Unable to upload from Picasa Web Albums to Panoramio

For the last several days, I have been mostly unable to upload pictures from my Picasa Web Albums account to my Panoramio account.  This has always worked fine in the past and I'm not doing anything different.  Have had trouble using three different computers, two different physical and IP address locations, two different Windows versions, all using some recent version of Firefox.  The process starts normally, then stops and I get an error message:

Sorry, there was an internal error when we tried to copy your photo from your Picasa Web Albums account to your Panoramio account. Please try again in a few minutes. You can go back to Picasa Web Albums or go to your Panoramio user page.

Retrying doesn't help.

Have you tried doing it via the Panoramio uploader? Try that, under the blue "Upload photos" button you will find the following link: "You can also import from Picasa Web Albums or Google+". Click to get access to your albums.

Google is trying to terminate picasaweb by merging it into Google+ photos :( Not sure how they will do this for people which is not on Google+.

Two of the three pbotos I tried did work the way you suggested.  One failed with a similar error, twice.

At me such problem. Download did not happen, a popup window "Download failed: server error."
