I found, on my site page, a congratulation message for a picture taken by someone else.  How did it get into "My Conversations" ?  And this happened twice on my page.   As I checked that User's page, trying to find some explaination, I found out that he too, had unrelevant messages posted on his page: I'm talking about 2 different Users exchanging comments He was not concerned with.    !

Another problem : I uploaded 5 photos in April - 2 months ago- and they still don't appear on G.E.    I read the blog and the forum before writing this and found nothing that mention such a delay.

Best wishes, All.

when you leave a comment under a photo, you are subscribed to that photo. You will see every comment others make on that photo. If you do not want that you will have to delete your comment under that photo.

There is a delay in updating GE, please read this thread , one of the many I might add.

1. The stream of comments includes the photos where you have left a comment in the past (an all the subsequent comments that follow). With so few comments made it is normal you still don't understand how it works. You don't seem to be concerned with the communal aspects of Panoramio (comments, favourite photographers, interaction in general, etc.)

In the photo conversations, you will see all the comments a photo you have previously commented on, is receiving. When you leave a comment on a photo, you kind of subscribe to the conversations under that photo.

You missed this thread ;)

Hi Draken,
Thanks very much for your reply.  Things look a little clearer now.  As you noticed, I'm not an expert at this but I enjoy it quite much though.  I did try to go into "Groups" ( I mean :before your message ) but I had to give up because I didn't understand anything . Too confusing for me.
Have a nice day.
