"Failed to update photo properties." error message.

Tonight (Sun 30th June 2013 22:20ish ) I am trying to upload some photos and I am getting the following error listed with each photo "Failed to update photo properties."

The upload page is just sitting there spinning it's wheels but if I load my page in a different tab it is clear that the photos themselves have upload OK, the titles, tags and positions are correct so unless it is a property I'm not aware of the error seems to be bogus. I'm reluctant to hit the "cancel all"  button as they seem to have uploaded OK.

I'll hold off on uploading any more tonight and try again tomorrow just in case something is out of kilter.

you probably used a corrupt subject to snap to, you can not know that, but it happens more. 

Just ignore the error, go on with what you were doing, mapping, tagging, titling. When you´re done, just close the upload tab and go to your Panoramio page. The uploads and changes are live, the button at the bottom doesn´t have any other function as bringing you to your photo page.

Everything will be there, except that "snap" on photo(s) affected. The same will happen if you will try to snap to that corrupt subject afterward. Look for an other subject or ignore.

Thanks, you seem to have hit the nail on the head. The snap to is indeed missing.
